When the weather outside is frightful....

Considering that when Anton left the house this morning it was -16 it was probably not such a good day to take the kiddos outside to play. I absolutely love the snow. I get bummed it is literally too cold to go out and play in it.

I saw this neat idea on a friend's blog and it was a hit. What floored me that it is such a simple Idea that doesn't cost any money or really require any tools, so why didn't I think of it before?! Well I am glad someone came up with the idea.

Hunter was completely thrilled with the idea. He got really serious into making a castle that he claimed was for the cat in the hat. (Where he get's these Ideas I will probably never know)

He loved eating the snow and pretending he was eating certain animals.

Lorelei watched Hunter intently while every now and then opening up in a pure belly giggle.

I almost had as much fun as Hunter did making miniature snowmen that Hunter would promptly smoosh with cookie cutters. We will probably make this a daily activity as long as there is snow!
