O Christmas Tree

Getting ready for the Holidays with the kids this year has been a blast. Hunter understands what is going on a lot more this year and is extremely excited to help. He is so proud of his Christmas Tree. He loves to sit in front of it in the morning and just adore it. I was going to leave the tree as he decorated it, but the limbs couldn't handle the weight of five or more ornaments. So for the safety of everyone I had to more appropriately disperse the ornaments.

I am excited for Christmas morning. Every day he looks at the presents and asks "please open". He has the puppy dog pout down. Learned from the expert his father.

A New Holiday Tradition.

Aunt Terra sent our family a wonderful package. She gave us a beautiful tree advent calendar with a tag in each pocket to correspond with a gift. I placed the gifts in a Santa bag by the tree, so every morning Hunter runs to pull his tag to match it with a gift. I absolutely love watching Hunter's excitement. What a neat tradition to start. I have been saving all the tags, so I can continue the tradition for years to come. I feel like a little kid again I am having so much fun!

Lorelei is Two Months!

I know the post is a day late, but I did take the actual pictures yesterday. The past two months have flown by while spending them with my beautiful children.

Lorelei is working on her beautiful coos. She loves story time before bed and naps. If I move the book she moves her head so she can see it better and if the pages are real colorful and vibrant see gets excited, coos, and kicks her feet. She is also starting to figure out when the last book is done and prayers are said it is time to sleep. (Starting being the key word)

She loves to be held and must be facing where she can see everything that is going on around her. Hunter is infatuated with her. He loves to make sure that she wakes up when he does. He gets right in her face and yells "wake up baby!" then he asks to hold "it" as he says. Pronouns are still something we are working on learning.

I love how cuddly she is and when you pick her up she grabs a hold of you tightly with her tiny hands.

I can hardly believe my precious Lorelei is two months!

Family and Thanksgiving!

My cousin Corynn and her family came up the week of Thanksgiving. We had an absolute blast. I pray that Hunter and Benny will be life long friends. They absolutely had a ball together and Hunter just adores Benny. First thing Hunter asks me in the morning is if he can see Benny.

Lorelei would coo and coo at Corynn. Reiley got lots of great experience holding her. She is such a little mother. I think Mike has babies on the brain after holding my beautiful Lorelei. Course who wouldn't after seeing her.

I dragged poor Mike and Corynn black friday shopping, but we conquered!

I can hardly wait till we can get all of our beautiful babies together again.

Uncle Jack

Wow! Where did the last month go? I literally just downloaded a month worth of pictures. I filled an 8GB card. Can we say picture happy? I have been so busy enjoying Lorelei, Hunter and all the family that came to visit I am going to have to catch up!

Uncle Jack took a long road trip from Florida to Kansas with his girlfriend and her dog just to see me. Okay so Lorelei and Hunter probably had more to do with it, but I will take all the credit.

We sat around and talked most of the time. We did decide to go to the zoo on Winter Wednesday. The name was very fitting. It started snowing after the freezing rain while we were there and we had 30 mph winds, which is pretty typical for Kansas it just makes the cold colder. Hunter was an ice cube by the time we were all done. Course my brother and I being the geniuses we are both were wearing flip flops. (I hate to admit I am still wearing flip flops around. lol)

Hunter absolutely adores his Uncle Jack. He followed him around like a lost puppy saying Uncle Jack over and over again.

When Uncle Jack had to leave to go home the poor kid through himself on the floor crying.
