I had literally planned the day we were going to the pumpkin patch in May!
Yes I know I am crazy, but I get excited about the holidays. Course I never expected Hunter to have an ear infection. By the time Friday rolled around Anton and I were exhausted. Since I work nights Tony would stay up with him all night and I would stay with him all day. We were literally functioning on and hour and a half of sleep every twenty four hours.(So please excuse my unkempt appearance. Hunter was taking a nap right before we left and I was not missing out on the precious sleep.)
Did we let that stop us from our scheduled pumpkin patch trip? Of course not! Hunter was acting like he felt better and it was our last opportunity. Boy were we glad we went.

What do you do when you have a sick baby/ toddler? I put Hunter in adorable pajamas, cuddled with Hunter, read with Hunter, let him watch more movies than he has never watched in his entire life, and pretty much let him do whatever he wanted.
Yes that even included letting him lick the beater after making cream cheese icing.
Yes! He sure has me wrapped around his finger!

Last weekend Hunter when to our towns fall festival's parade. I figured he wouldn't know what to think of it and not really be into it. Boy was I wrong. Hunter picked up quickly and would even jump up and down chanting Candy ... Candy... Candy... with the rest of the kids. Great! I already got a candy hound on my hands. Boy did he clean house as well. His bag of candy almost filled our cookie jar. He isn't even two yet what is he going to do with all that candy?! I guess mom and dad will just have to help out!
Course I found out yesterday that apparently before I put the candy in the cookie jar Hunter took time to stash candy around the house.
So now he keeps coming out of his room, living room, or kitchen with a sucker or a tootsie roll stuck in his mouth with the wrapper still on, but soaking wet.
