I am lost with out my camera. It is normally permantly attached to me... so where did I put it. I know I had it last Friday and I was eager to put up the pictures that night, but I waited since my husband was on our one computer. So where did I put it it since then???? I have no clue. Why do I hide things from myself. I am really bummed cause I have some perfectly cute pix of Hunter on there.
He has decided that the flash bothers him now so he gives these hilarious faces. Oh and he takes about five steps at a time now. If we could just get over this ear infection he has had for about a month. Poor baby. Now I am going to pout cause a post isn't the same with out a picture. : )

I try to take my son outside at least once a day regardless of the temp to prevent cabin fever. I took him to the neighborhood playground today after playing in our yard for a little while. There were two kids there, so I figured Hunter would be excited.
We show up and they are throwing rocks. I go to the other side of the playground to avoid them. We still get hit. The little boy who was about nine apologized. Then the little girl who was probably about eleven started intentionally throwing them at Hunter. Before I could even say anything the lil boy got on to her. Good job! She then came right up to Hunter's face and starting sticking her tongue out. I thought that maybe this was just her way of trying to be playful. She then grabbed his hand and started hitting him in the face with it. I grabbed her and told her to let go. Then she proceeded to try to kick my son in the head while the little boy just kept yelling what are you doing. I just jetted. I kept myself from taking her by the shirt to find her mom and tell her that her daughter is deranged and needs serious help. I am not going to admit on here what I really wanted to do. Really at eleven why would you want to kick a baby in the head? Especially one that was quietly playing and not even in your way. Sorry for the tangent, but I get a little irked when someone messes with my family.
Any how after that Hunter and I had a nice two and half hour play date outside since I locked us out of the house. Oops. I love having a big yard with plenty of room for Hunter to explore and dig. He is in charge of digging holes for my plants this spring. He is going to be such a great lil helper.

Valentine's Weekend.

This Valentine's weekend my family came into town for my Uncle's wedding. Chelsey and her girls stayed with us. Hunter was asleep when they arrived Friday evening. When he woke up Saturday morning and Brodie and Kylar walked up stairs he was beside himself. He kept laughing and smiling and laying his head down cause he didn't know how to handle his overwhelming excitement.
Hunter loved on Kyler and gave her plenty of hugs.
I couldn't believe how much Brodie has grown since she stayed with us almost four years ago.
Hunter helped Kylar play with his toys.

Hunter would chase poor Kylar all around the house.
Here is me and my gramma before the wedding.
Brodie and Riley were ring bearers for the wedding. They looked absolutely beautiful. Riley has grown so much herself!
Of course we were the rowdiest bunch at the wedding. My cousin Corynn in front and Chelsey with the camera.
This was the first time for me to meet Ty and Amber's son Owen. He is just six months older than Hunter. What a cute kid.
Ty and Owen
Here is the whole family both side minus Hunter and me since I took the pix.
Tony's family.
Here is a pix of all the Brown Grand kids and Great Grand kids except for my brother and Chelsey's man Steven. Let me tell you we are a rowdy and loud bunch when we are together. We sure have fun though.

Indian Summer

Kansas weather is always a surprise. Lately it has been between the 50-70's. What isn't it February and supposed to be snowing? Course here it is 70 one day and snowing the next. Anyways, Hunter and I took advantage of the nice weather. We went on a couple of strolls with his lil trike. Oh does he love that thing. He tries to steer it himself so I keep driving him off the side walk and he bops his head back and forth thinking it will make him go faster.
Okay this picture doesn't really have anything to do with what I am talking about, but it is hilarious. What is it about riding in cars that makes kids pass out?
My lil digger. Oh I so need to get him a sandbox. At least here he isn't digging in my indoor plants.
His hole he dug was more than six inches deep. What is he looking for? Give him some dirt or sand and he just digs and digs and digs. My poor plants at home are lopsided now. Each plant has a side with a whole about 6 inches deep. I find soil all around my house. I have not figured a way to keep him out except for putting all my plants on my kitchen table when not in use.
Hunter loves baby racing outside as well. I am so glad that we have a nice big yard and get along with our neighbors well. We sure use it all as well as the girls next door. Hunter crawls almost the whole premises. Oh and Hunter got two new balls. He was so excited. He even got a bigger one which he thinks is super neat.

A Good Man!

My Husband sure spoils me rotten. On my birthday he took me out to Outback for cheese fries and a nice juicy filet. Oh my goodness it was so good. Nothing better than a medium rare steak done right. Then he shows me what he ordered me for my birthday! A Canon 50D! I am middle school girl excited.I can hardly wait till it gets here. "shriek" ( that is my middle school girl exclamation of excitement!) I am already planning "photography trips" to the farm. Nothing could top my birthday until Saturday when he threw a suprise bday party for me. No ladies he doesn't have any brother's. I sure don't deserve him, but I do love him to the core.

I just love this pix so I had to put it up. Here is Hunter playing with his tools he got from his Aunt Terra and Uncle Mike for his bday. They both live in Japan. Right now Terra is back to take care of our momma and Mike is coming in tonight. They sure know how to spoil Hunter. I keep trying to talk her into adopting a japanese baby, we will take care of it ,and she can spoil it. I have had no luck in the convincing yet. (Terra if you are reading this... please!!! hehe)I have always wanted an asian baby. I don't know why except for the fact that they are beautiful. I guess I will have to be perfectly happy with my beautiful child. Yep he is a keeper, especially since he is so much like his daddie!

Screaming Banshee

Apparently Hunter's way of telling us that his ear hurts is screaming like a banshee for hours. Okay I took that down in my repertoire of Hunter's cries. Poor baby. Course once we show up at the doctor's office you wouldn't know that he was sick. Seeing people he always tries to become the center of attention. He charmed the scrubs of the nurses and played ball with a little girl. Oh yeah and he learned a new trick while he was sick. Blowing bubbles... eww. : )

Please Pray

My dear mother in law (Granny Di to Hunter) is in the MICU of our hospital. She has been battling leukemia and now has pneumonia. This puts her in a very critical situation. Please pray that God enables her to recover and pray for strength for our family. Additionally, please pray that I may know how to be supportive to my husband at this time.
