The past couple days that I had off from work I have been taking my time playing with Hunter, cleaning up the destruction on my house that occurred from Christmas, and getting ready for Birthdays. In all of this Hunter thought it would be fun to dig a hole to China in on of my potted plants. When I told him to get out of the plant he turned, looked at me, and with a determined face said "No!". We had a battle of wills after that you can say!I thought I had more time before putting up with that. *tear*

On to the New Year!
His Great Grampa bought his Gramma a Dancing frog.
Hunter thought it was amazing.

This was the first time Hunter got to see his cousins. They sure became quick friends.
They strolled all over the house.
They even climbed a few stairs.
My Grampa played his clarinet for everyone.

I think Hunter was his biggest fan.
I ended up getting horribly sick during gift opening, so none of those pictures turned out. I am a little bummed about that. What a way to end Christmas! Anyways, lets just say Santa really likes Hunter. Here is a pix of his three step trike that he got. Hunter thinks it is the neatest thing ever and the buckle even makes it really safe for him. I guess Tony and I need to go out and get him a helmet soon.

Well I hope you all have a happy new year!
I am trying to get ready for Hunter to turn one. I need some waterproof mascara I think!

Random Moments!
Here are a few moments that happened over the past week that I want to make sure to remember. The day after we had Christmas with My Dad's side of the Family Hunter was playing with his Grampa Brown and found a chest hair! He plucked it and then tried to look on his chest to try to find the same thing. He kept going back and forth trying to figure out why Grampa had 'em and he didn't. The rest of the night he kept tugging on his own shirt trying to see if he was just missing them. So cute. Oh also later that night he started playing on his toy laptop and actually pretending to type. It was hilarious. I know he watches Tony and me type all the type I just didn't realize that he was aware enough of what we were doing to try to mimic it! Wow kids are so much smarter than I realized. Also on Christmas morning Hunter learned to say a new word. "NO!" He would go up to something that he wasn't supposed to mess with it. Stand next to it and go "no...no..no." So he does hear us! He just chooses to ignore us!

Merry Christmas 2008!
Course Hunter didn't understand that it was Christmas so he went into his room to start playing with his blocks.
Hey buddy come check out what is in the other room!
Hunter loved the truck horn on his new fire engine! Before going to Anton's mom side of the family Christmas we stopped by his parents for a little while. Hunter got a sweet bulldozer from his Aunt Terra and a John Deer wagon from his grandparents.
Then Tony found something peculiar in his stocking. : )
At his greats Hunter had a blast socializing with his cousins!
Hunter and Blair had lots of floor time.
Hunter loved getting into Sophia's space.
Taylor and Hunter got along great.
Cousin Amy has the touch.
Then it came for the money bag time. Basically you get one chance to take a handful out of the bag to see how much you can get. Hunter held his own. Course Tony beat everyone again like he does almost every year. One handful of Change he got 44.70. I only got 16.50. I guess you know what they say about big hands. More change out of the money bag. Tony's a nice daddie and gives it all to Hunter. I guess I got to be a nice mommie to then.
Happy Holidays everyone! The only thing that could have made it better if my brother is here. Hopefully he has a Merry Christmas wherever he is.

A merry first Christmas!
This Sunday we kicked of this Christmas with a wonderful gathering of with My family. My lovely Husband made a fantastic meal as you can see in the pictures food covered our kitchen. There was only six of us and we had enough food for thirty people! My dad came to town and my Grandparents came over. Hunter as always got into the food! That boy can sure throw down some grub! To my suprise he even got into the presents! At first the tissue paper was a distraction, but once he realized that there were prizes in the tissue paper he was game! He was on to his daddie to open his presents quick so he could get to playing. Tony and I got ton's of fantastic Watkin's products from my grandparents and My dad gave us a rock awesome digital picture frame. I am so excited! I take millions of pictures and never have the money to print them. What a perfect thing to do with my pix. He also got Hunter some sweet camo boots! Perfect for our little Hunter! Tis the Season to be Merry!

Christmas/11month pix!

I know it seems like last month pix were around the corner. He has gotten so big! I can't believe I have 11 sets of monthly bday pix. One more month to go. My heart breaks. I am going to have a hard time weening myself from monthly pix.
They are such a treat for me. Isn't he such a perfect Santa?!

At this photo shoot I understood why some parents dred picture taking. My son a well trained picture taker was all over the place. I would set him down to look at the pix and next thing I would know he would be hanging in a rack of clothes. What a naught santa. : )

When taking pix the photographer would have a bell for him to look at. Instead of looking at it he would crawl to get it. She would then hide it and he would still find it. Too smart for his own good!

I love how he look like a lil man just hanging!
